Welcome to the Council of Arathor, a Warcraft Alliance raiding guild on the Bloodhoof server.
Formed in Sept. 2006 by a group of friends looking to get more out of the game than their previous guild provided, CoA has grown in to a successful, friendly raiding guild that's open to mature players looking for good times. We were founded on the premise of teamwork, unity and a democratic structure that takes it's direction from all the members. We are united by a common idea of playing ethics, and in many cases, friend and family ties. We understand that we, as a guild, are only as strong as our weakest character and we work with our members of all levels to help prepare them for the future so that they may be an asset to us and anyone they group with.
We are a democratic guild and our elected officers are subject to review and possible election every 6 months. This helps make sure CoA officers stay active and involved in all areas of the guild by listening to the needs of the membership. All officers welcome suggestions and ideas that will make members play experience more enjoyable.
We want all CoA members, and those who will join us in the future, to above all have fun. We don't force spec on anyone, we try to accommodate everyone style of play within the group we have. We encourage interaction, enjoy joking and kidding around, and generally want to get to know everyone, as it is more fun to group with people who are friends than strangers.

6/24/08 - First Boss down in Zul'Aman
A great victory was had by CoA in Zul'Aman this week in entering the instance for the first time as a guild run and taking down the first boss, The Bear Lord Nalorakk. It took a few attempts but he went down like a chump and our first loot from ZA, The Fury of the Ursine, went to Alxanderia, congratulations. We will continue to work this boss each week until we get it within the allotted time for the timed event. Thank you to those that participated and keep up the good work!!!

5/7/08 - A great first attempt at Netherspite, Gruul's falls flat and Mencer says good bye.
Well at our first time working Netherspite at the top of Karazhan we got hime down as low as 54% before we ran out of time. :-( This is a real great start and should give us al high hopes for next week where the plan is to work him and Nightbane. Best of luck everyone. So we put togther a group of us and some available friends and gave Gruul's Layer a crack. Unfornatuly we were stoped by High King Mulgar but we learned a lot and are ready to go again next Tuesday. I've decided the time has come for me to move on and you can read my good bye on the forums.
